Deidra Crews Among 14 Full Professor Black Women at Johns Hopkins

We are thrilled to announce our Associate Director for Research Development, Dr. Deidra C. Crews, has achieved Full Professorship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our colleague in her outstanding achievement!

It should be noted that our Center Director, Dr. Lisa Cooper, achieved full professorship in 2007 and was the first African American female to do so in 100 years. Dr. Crews’ achievement is timely as the Center for Health Equity just celebrated 10 years of working to promote health equity for vulnerable populations.

We are so proud of all the powerful, smart, and capable black women who lead and work with the Center for Health Equity and are excited to see many more follow the lead of Dr. Cooper and Dr. Crews.
